Kakum National Park is well known among Ghanaians as well as Tourist who frequent this West African country, Ghana. The canopy walk way encompasses a rich history of the settlements, the different trees and distinct animals in the forest.
Standing about 40 meters high above ground, the canopy walk way presents an adventurous approach to visitors who would like to camp or stay the night in one of the tree houses reserved for this purpose.
The Canopy walk way was designed and built by a joint group made of Ghanaians & Candaians, it was first opened in 1995 and is one of the most visited Tourist attractions in Ghana.
If you plan to visit Kakum, plan to stay the night nearby (Hans Cottage Bottage: offers bird watching & crocodile petting) so you can be in a relaxed mood to enjoy the place and what it has to offer.
